Criminal law
What you say at the first interview follows the whole file. We are reachable before it, not only afterwards.
A summary penalty order becomes final unless a written objection is filed within ten days of service. That period includes weekends and cannot be extended.
What we handle most often
- A summons to an interview by the police or the public prosecutor.
- Objection to a summary penalty order, in road traffic matters in particular.
- Filing a criminal complaint and following the proceedings as a private claimant.
- Court-appointed and privately instructed defence before the Vaud courts.
- Support for victims, including victim-support procedures and compensation.
How we work
Preparing the interview
We explain your rights, in particular the right to remain silent, and what is actually at stake. A prepared interview is shorter and leaves fewer traces.
Reading the file
Access to the file often shows that the evidence is thinner than announced. That is where strategy is decided, not at the hearing.
Staying reachable
Criminal matters move fast. Our clients get a direct number for urgent situations, weekends included.

Check your deadline first
Under Swiss law, most claims are lost for lack of time, not for lack of arguments. Enter the date you received the letter and we will tell you how long you have left.
Indicative calculation based on the date of receipt you enter. Some deadlines are suspended during court holidays or run differently. Have your case checked.
